Marketing – there’s no ‘off’ switch

There are significant differences between marketing for blue-chip companies and marketing for small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs) that go well beyond smaller budgets. According to David Cervi, owner of marketing consultancy HyperSphere, there are eight pitfalls for small business when it comes to marketing.

Australia’s largest marketing consultancy firm for small to medium sized businesses will give Marketing Managers the opportunity to own their own ‘Marketing Eye’ through a licensing agreement that will see the company open 20 new licensees over the next 18 months.
After an enjoyable five year stint in North Sydney, the Marketing Eye team in Sydney has moved office.

Where did you come up with the idea for running an outsourced marketing company?
After running a creative marketing agency for 5 years primarily focused on big corporate, I realised that there was a need in the market for small to medium sized businesses to have an experienced marketing manager at an affordable price.
Marketing Eye has been signed Great Southern Rail as a new client to develop a marketing plan.

Headed by tourism marketing expert, Julie Schoneveld, Great Southern Rail will engage in a series of workshops followed by the development of a marketing plan.
