Catalyst, a non-profit organisation providing research services into women in the workforce recently reported that females made up only 16.3% of CEO positions and 34.1% of senior management positions in 2016.

Being a young woman with high hopes in business and seeing these kinds of statistics is both disheartening and motivating. On one hand, it pushes you to think “I can do this, I can really make a difference”, then some days you see the number of male figureheads of a company or even the country, shake your head and wonder if it’s worth it (pro tip: it is).

Planking is the action of lying face down with arms to the sides of the body, in unusual public spaces and photographing it.

Marketing Eye CEO, Julie Schoneveld joined the craze today, together with Pip (the Director's dog). Planking is viral marketing at its best. There is not a day that goes by that there is not a report about planking.

It’s been a year of mixed fortunes for IT businesses.
What a week – actually, what a month!

It’s been a very big start to the new year and in many ways I am incredibly grateful. Business is booming and opportunities are out there for the taking. I have also given myself a new role in the company that I love so much – Marketing Eye.
